Join me in the heart of Colorado’s most spectacular fall color region—Crested Butte—for an immersive autumn photography experience timed for peak aspen color. Early October in the Elk Mountains delivers a breathtaking display of glowing gold aspen groves, dramatic mountain backdrops, misty mornings, and ever-changing weather that creates truly dynamic photographic opportunities.
This small-group workshop (limited to just 6 participants) is designed to maximize both your time in the field and your growth as a photographer. We’ll explore iconic locations like Kebler Pass and Ohio Pass, along with lesser-known compositions that elevate your portfolio beyond the typical postcard scenes.
Between shoots, we’ll dive into personalized instruction, image review, and advanced post-processing techniques—helping you return home with not just great images, but a stronger creative vision.
My quest as a landscape and nature photographer is to showcase wild, beautiful and unique natural locations and to use my creative vision to capture those landscapes in high quality and evocative images that inspire awe in the viewer, respect for the natural world and ultimately a greater appreciation of wilderness and wilderness preservation.
I have been leading workshop and photo tours for twenty years. I look forward to making your photo trip a great success.
