Exploring Death Valley
We will be out in the park each morning and evenng exploring a variety of locations including sand dunes, vistas, badlands, salt flats and much more. You can expect to be out for 3 to 4 hours both in the monring and afternoon.

Middle of the day will be set aside for rest and recuperation.

Finishing up in Death Valley/Heading to Lone Pine/Alabama Hills
After a sunrise shoot, we will head over to Lone Pine, CA (approx. 90 minute drive) and check into the hotel.

We will depart 2 hours before sunset to photograph the Alabama Hills.

Exploring the Alabama Hills
We will be out for both morning and afternoon sessions in the Alabama Hills making amazing images anmd exploring the many vistas, rock formations, arches and more.

In the afternoon, we will have a two hour classroom session covering essential image decvelopment techniques at the hotel.

My quest as a landscape and nature photographer is to showcase wild, beautiful and unique natural locations and to use my creative vision to capture those landscapes in high quality and evocative images that inspire awe in the viewer, respect for the natural world and ultimately a greater appreciation of wilderness and wilderness preservation. Can't say enough great things about this trip. Joe and Eric are the consummate photography workshop leaders. Always available to help, encouraging, prepared. Great variety of locations and a great mix of close to the road and easy walks. The backcountry add on was spectacular. I give this workshop my highest recommendation. Matthew

The photographic workshop with Joseph (Rossbach) and Eric (Bennett) was truly wonderful. They took us to fabulous spots that I would never have been able to get to on my own and they were both excellent educators, who provided lots of good instruction and feedback. The trip was absolutely great ! We had good weather for taking some incredible shots with sunrise mist and soft late afternoon sunsets . Add to the weather a nice boat to ride around and Joseph ,who knows this area like his back yard, and the results are fantastic ! We really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone interested in something mystical and just beautiful as Caddo Lake ! Thank you Joseph .

Joe leads a wonderful workshop. He helps everyone to get the best images possible. He helps attendees with camera settings, post processing ideas, plus getting into the best spots. This was my third workshop with Joe, and I plan to attend more. Great workshop!
