A Premium Fine Art Experience | Limited to 6 Participants
Spring in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a season of quiet transformation—flowing water, emerging greens, soft fog, and layered forests coming to life.
This workshop is designed as a complete photographic experience—from capture to final print.
Over six days, we’ll not only create compelling images in the field, but also refine and bring them to life as museum-quality fine art prints.
This workshop is intentionally limited to just six participants.
This ensures:
Direct, personalized instruction throughout
Space to work creatively without pressure
A quiet, focused learning environment
This is a six-day immersive workshop built around both fieldwork and creative refinement.
Each day is structured to maximize both:
Morning
Sunrise / early light field session
Waterfalls, streams, forest scenes, and atmospheric conditions
Midday
Rest and reset
Classroom instruction and image development
Afternoon / Evening
Late-day field session
Composition refinement and creative exploration
Each day includes dedicated class sessions focused on:
Composition and visual design
Working with soft light, fog, and atmosphere
Developing a cohesive body of work
Advanced post-processing techniques
This is not just field guidance—it’s a structured learning experience designed to elevate your photography.
Flowing mountain streams and cascading waterfalls
Fog-filled forests and layered ridgelines
Spring foliage and emerging greens
Intimate forest scenes and abstract compositions
Details often overlooked in more traditional landscape work
This experience is ideal for photographers who:
Want to move beyond “capturing scenes” into creating art
Value small groups and personalized instruction
Are interested in the full process—from capture through print
Are serious about building a stronger, more cohesive portfolio
